Join fellow Alaskans & friends of Alaska living or visiting the DC metro area for good food and good company! There will be fun times for the whole family as team Anchorage vs. team Rest of Alaska battle for the trophy in this year's softball game. Feel free to invite friends, attend the whole time, or just part of the time.
Members of the Alaska Congressional Delegation have been invited and are known to make an appearance at this event.
Please bring a dish to share, and AKSS sponsors will provide burgers and hot dogs to grill, and soda, water, and beer.
If you are looking to organize a Hawaiian style holiday party for your kids. Try to cook Hawaiian recipes that you can easily find in books and even online. A pineapple cake and some nice cocktails are excellent additions to the party.
